DESCRIPTION:This meeting has been cancelled\, we will resume our regularly scheduled meetings next month.  \n\n\n\nThe Government and Economic Affairs Committee is open to all current Chamber members who wish to join. New members must attend 3 meeting before they are installed with voting rights. \n\n\n\nThis committee does important work for the Chamber in the areas of advocacy and economic development.  They meet every two months to discuss economic development opportunities and pressing issues that affect the business environment of Oregon City\, Clackamas County and the State of Oregon. \n\n\n\nSome of what this group does:\n\nResearch economic opportunities and issues for the Chamber\n\nCommunity outreach\n\nDevelops messaging around issues the Chamber needs to talk about\n\nDevelop relationships with stakeholders and officials \n\nMakes recommendations to the Chamber Board for actions and positions issues\n\n\n\nThis is a great way to be engaged in your local community and one of the most vital parts of the Chamber mission.  If you would like to join this committee\, please contact the Chamber at chamberinfo@oregoncity.org or attend the next meeting.
