CHAIR ELECT: Ben James is President and founder of Elevate Wealth Advisors and has worked extensively in the field of financial management since 1997. A graduate of Portland State University with a degree in Finance, Ben holds the Chartered Financial Consultant designation and the Certified Financial Planner™ designation through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and as of August 2015 he became a CFA® charterholder. He is a Registered Principal for, and holds securities designations 7, 24, and 63 with LPL Financial. Ben, wife Marki, twin boys Collin and Cormac along with third son Cameron live in West Linn. Ben enjoys biking, golfing, kayaking and spending time with his family.

Jan is a founding member of Clackamas Volunteers in Medicine, the first Free Medical Clinic in Clackamas County serving individuals in Clackamas County who are uninsured and underinsured and who are experiencing limited access to medical care and services. Jan has served in a number of board positions including Past President and current Board member of CVIM; Executive Director, Clackamas County Medical Society; member Organizing Committee and past Board Member Project Access NOW; Past member Clackamas Health Access Initiative; Past President of Clackamas County Medical Assistants Association; Current Board Chair, St. John the Apostle Cemetery and former owner Jandon Medical Transcription Services. Jan is a lifelong resident of Oregon City with two grown children and five grandchildren.
CHAIR OF THE BOARD: Sheldon is the proud owner of two businesses. Amicus Digital Sign Solutions (20 years) helps small businesses with their IT needs and to feel comfortable with their computer. “We also focus on Digital Signage for any size business making it simple and easy to understand”. Chris Cakes NW is not your average catering company; picture breakfast meets Benihana’s. Using a custom designed grill and dispensing unit for feeding large groups, add humor, pancake art and fancy flipping and you have a one-of-a-kind event that people will love to watch and taste!! Sheldon also serves with “Gideon’s International” through his church and the OC Lions Club. Shelton and his wife Susan have been married for over 20 years.
Haven Corner is an owner-operated Adult Care Home. Craig and Debbie DeRusha bring their many years of training and experience to serve those facing dementia, who are unable to live and care for themselves alone or are isolated by health or physical circumstances. This highly regarded “family style” facility offers community and care to fragile citizens. Debbie left 25 years of corporate banking to gain her nursing and genealogy certificates and Craig brings over 12 years’ experience as a caregiver for a family member. Due to a long waiting list, Haven Corner added a second location next door to help more members in our community.
Doug has been part of Clackamas Fire District #1 for 16 years and currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Business Services. He started his in the fire service in 2000 when I became a volunteer for the Fire District and then was hired in 2002. During his career, he worked in the Fire Prevention Division until he was promoted to Deputy Chief in 2017. He received his Associated Degree from Clackamas Community College and Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Administration from Eastern Oregon University. He is married with one daughter and enjoys spending time with family, coaching my daughter’s sports teams, and anything outdoors to include hiking, camping, and hunting.
Pamela J. Bloom is the President of B&B Leasing Co., Inc., a family owned solid waste and recycling business. Prior to working at B&B Leasing Co., Inc., Pamela taught Health Education at Milwaukie High School. She was born and raised in Oregon City and graduated from Oregon City High School. She received a BS in Health Education from Oregon State University and a Master's of Arts degree in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College. Pamela enjoys golf, traveling, jigsaw puzzles and the outdoors.
Eric has been in the financial services industry for 30 years. He joined the Wells Fargo Team in 2007 and moved to the Wealth Brokerage Services as a Financial Advisor in 2014.

Matt has been the Business & Industry Training Manager with Clackamas Community College for two years. He brings 10 years of experience as an educator in business and technology and now oversees operations and lead part-time faculty for the Customized Training and Development Services Department at CCC. He is the one to reach out to businesses and organizations to assist them in their professional development goals. Prior to serving as an educator, Matt worked in technology and engineering, as well as the public sectors of municipal and county government.
Matt has known his wife over 20 years; he has a son in high school and twin stepsons who are grown. His greatest joy is spending time with family and he also enjoys auto restoration and metal work in his spare time. He is also an avid motorcyclist.
Victor is an estimator with Oregon City Garage Door where he’s been for seven years. He enjoys helping home owners and businesses determine their best options for overhead door needs. Victor has been married for 35 years and they have two sons. He and his wife enjoy golfing, hiking and camping.
