Description
Each paid member of the Chamber will receive a ballot to their primary contact. One vote per organization.
The Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors has vetted the following candidates according to policies and procedures in the bylaws and now are presenting each to the membership for consideration.

a) I love Oregon City as it is a thriving community that is welcoming of cultures & people and a community that continues to grow! b) I believe in the OC Chamber as I’ve personally seen how networking and chamber members help one another. As someone who has a passion to help out the community, I feel comfortable in knowing that OC Chamber is wonderful resource not just for the businesses, but the community as well. c) The outstanding business skills I’ll be bringing to the board is communication and problem solving skills as I’m a few boards and committees currently such as the Canby Chamber – Tourism Committee and Providence Milwaukie Foundation where I maintain responsibilities and find ways as to how we can connect with the Latino community. |

a) Even though I reside in Damascus, I have worked in Oregon City for the past 10 years. I feel a connection to the community of Oregon City like no other place I have ever worked or lived. Serving and being active in the Oregon City has instilled in me a feeling of belonging and community pride. I love Oregon City because of its history, its pride, its people and its sense of community. b) I believe in the Oregon City Chamber because we are providing a necessary function that promotes all types of business. As we work to strengthen non-profit, for-profit, small and large business in Oregon City we will create a stronger community. The Oregon City Chamber is helping to create a city that is more diversified, more vibrant, healthier and a better place to live and work. c) I bring to the board 30 years of business experience working in the finance sector on both side of the balance sheet. I have extensive work experience in lending and investments. I have a Masters of Business Administration degree in organizational leadership and management. A undergraduate degree in finance and marketing. I bring to this board concrete business skills that will benefit both the chamber and its members. |
