Gala at the Falls
Description
You are cordially invited to take a journey “Over the Rainbow” and down the yellow brick road to the Emerald City to help share courage, compassion and wisdom with children in crisis.
Black tie suggested. Hats reflecting our evening’s theme are encouraged.
Benefitting music therapy and art therapy in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center.
Help us be the difference in a child’s life. - In 2013 Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center opened the first new child and adolescent psychiatric unit in Oregon in more than 20 years. This new service, relocated from Providence Portland Medical Center, was designed specifically for more than 570 young patients who are in need of this care.
Our care teams have been using an integrated approach that incorporates music and art therapy. By allowing young people to draw on music and art to manage their stressful experiences, we hope to make great strides in creating positive outcomes for our children. We do not believe this type of program is available anywhere else in the country.
Please help us continue to build a program that will help young patients develop the skills they need for long-term success.
